1989 Dodge Dakota a-500 trans problems

My dakota dosen't shift well between 2 and 3, hangs up for long time and now reverse is gone, think that its the direct clutch but suspect something more, please help.

Hi there,

I would suggest that you get a transmission specialist to service & inspect the transmission, ask for a full diagnostic test and report you will need to do this before you decide what to do next.
