My starter will not turn over, its brand new, I replaced the starter relay, battery is charged, I checked all the fuses. The problem started when the power wire that was on the starter hit a ground and made a big spark, when you connect the starter onto the transmission does it ground it? I also dropped my transmission, could I have not connected something and thats why it wont turn over? Let me know thanks

Hi, if you think it is a ground issue, you can use 1 jumper cable, clamp one end to the starter motor housing, the other negative battery post. If it cranks, you have a ground problem. Did you check relay circuits? If you take the connector loose from the relay and use jumper wire between terminals for the red wire and brown wire, the starter should crank. Just make sure the tranny is in park or neutral and the e-brake is set.
