Removal and installation of ignition lock

Electrical problem 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 100000 miles

I need to replace the ignition lock cylinder and have removed the steering wheel and the turn signal hazard warning switches. My manual shows a lock release slot which I cannot find.

Hello,

You will need to remove the steering wheel before you begin. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for but yours will need a puller

What's the question? Did you check for overheated terminals in the electrical connector?
