Engine running rough or misfiring can be cause by the following:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/engine-misfires-or-runs-rough

1.Defective spark plug
2.Inadequate spark/coil,defective spark plug wire.
3.Lack of compression
4.False air leakage.
5.Faulty fuel injectors.
6.Insufficient fuel pressure.
7.Contaminated fuel.
8.EGR valve that is leaking.
9.Oxygen sensors.
10.Throttle position sensor.
11.Manifold absolute pressure sensor

My 95 dodge caravan is not able to idle or drive, it constantly missfires, I have changed the plug wires, plugs, fuel filter, and distribitor cap. But the problem still persists.

Well first check spark on all cylinders, they should be bright blue and well defined, if they are orange or dull then you should change your coil. If they are all bright and blue.

Then you should perform a fuel pressure test and check for injector pulse if that is all good then I think you should clean out your throttle body, clean out the egr and its ports, and clean your air filter, pcv filter and pcv valve.

Engine Performance problem
1991 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 150000 miles

After driving for 10-20miles the van will start idling real rough and even die at a stop light. Check engine light comes on. I have changed spark plugs and wires, but no change. The next day the CEL goes away and it starts up fine until I have driven another 10-20 miles and it starts all over again.

Has you had the computer scanned for codes? Most parts stores will do it for free. If the light was on, there should be a code stored in the computer that will identify what the problem is. I would guess it has to deal with the EGR, but that is a guess until I know what code is stored in the computer.

LEt me know what you find.

Transmission problem
1990 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 098900 miles

I have a 1990 dodge grandcaravan, I have to go in an press the petal for at least 10-12 minutes to get it to heat up. My problem is that when I get to a hill or make a complete stop it does not want to go like it is stalling I press down on the petal it will go real slow around 15 miles only. I can hear the engine going but the van will not I put transmisson fluid in I also brake an all fluids but it did not help at all. Can u tell me what is wrong why it is stalling or not running right.

SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE MULTIPLE PROBLEMS.
NOT HEATING UP COULD BE THE THERMOSTAT.
NO THROTTLE RESPONSE COULD BE FUEL FILTER, AIR FILTER AND/OR NEEDS A GOOD TUNE UP. AS FOR THE TRANSMISSION, DOES THE OIL SMELL BURNT, IS IT A DARK RED OR HAVE FLAKES ON THE DIP STICK. IF SO YOU NEED TO AT LEAST CHANGE THE TRANS OIL AND FILTER.
