I just turned my key in the ignition, and some mysterious short occured. The rpm gauge is up to its maximum and still wants to go further. Besides that, hardly anything happens. Some warning lights come on (abs, park brake) and the interior lights come on with the doors open, and the under hood light comes on when I open the hood. Besides that, nothing. What oh what could be wrong here? I hope you can help me out, shorts are scary!

It was the battery. Wasn't charging (low on water) and that caused the strange warning lights etc
