does a 2005 dodge caravan have a fuel filter? I was told that it did'nt.

Your van does have a fuel filter. It is an assembly consisting of a filter and plastic lines with fittings. You can purchase one through a NAPA store using part number CH38. It is a bit tricky getting to this filter. It is beside the fuel tank and the tank must be dropped a little to assist in removal.
