2001 Dodge Caravan Ignition

2001 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 145000 km
Someone who thought my van was theirs, tried to start it using thier key. It didn't start it, but now my key will not turn in the ignition! I would really like to use my car any ideas?

Same thing happen to me try tapping on the end of key when it is in the ignition a few time if this does not work replace the ignition switch.
