Sounds like there may be a short in the body control module, its halfway behind the center pillar and driverside dash. But just to be certain that your not doing more than you have to. Check all fuses under the dash and inside engine compartment. Because alot of the electronics in vehicles have several components on one ground, so if something else goes bad, it can effect other components and cause them not to work, so look for other things too, thats not working all of a sudden
