Fans checked out OK when connected to the battery. I am trying to locate the fan moter relay. Can anyone tell me where it is located, and how to check it when I findm it. Thanks

The fan relay is located in the power distibution module (fuse box) under the hood, there is a high and low speed relay. The owners manual will tell you where they are in the box, should also be on the inside of the cover. Also check the connector to the fans, on the left lower part of the shroud, for evidence of damage or overheating (burning of the connector)
I ren into this with a caravan of the same year. Another shop replaced all the relays and the fan unit trying to correct the problem with no luck. At first my diagnosis came back to the fans, jumper wired the fans and both worked. While verifing what had already been done found the plastic partof the connector (from above) was burnt and the terminals were not making a good conection. Check there first.
