1999 Dodge Caravan ignition

The key will not turn-at all. It will not move to auxillary or anything. It had happened a couple of times before, but if you took the key out and reinserted it, it would work fine. Last night it wouldn't do anything even after trying for almost an hour. The steering wheel even locked up. Would this be the ignition switch or some kind of lock cylinoid? Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

You need to have the ignition cylinder lock replaced
best place to do so is by letting a lock smith do it this way you will keep the same keys and no need for any reprogramming for new keys and resetting any security codes if apply
