1999 Dodge Caravan Can't turn ignition

1999 Dodge Caravan 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1999 Dodge caravan w/ 90,000. Miles. When you put the key in the ignition, I cannot turn the key to start the car, nor dose it unlock the steering wheel. Switching to my wife key, I get the same thing. Please advise, thank you

Ignition cylinder lock need to be replaced

I suggest having a lock smith replace it for you as they can keep the same key and dont have to reprogram new keys and so
to get it starter for know
insert the key in the ignition and tap it in firmly with a small hammer that should get it to work
but dont know for how long just have it replaced
