I replaced input and output trans speed sensor. But engine light still stays on. I have also had the auto store reset it for me and that works. But after the van sits all night and I try to take off the light comes on and the van just stays in first gear until I turn the van off and restart it then it starts shifting again. What do you think?

What is the code that is showing up when you get the vehicle scanned. Post them back in the P**** formats and then I should have no problem helping you.

Hate to say it but I also have the same problem with my 97 caravan, Its called limp mode and i've been fighting it for months, your codes are probably p0300 and such, I bought the solenoid pack, the TCM, the input and output sensors and still wouldnt leave second gear, now the dealer say I need to bring my van in to have my computer programed to my vehicle with the vin and tire size and all that stuff, the new computer is for my van so it should already know the trans its working with, so I keep looking for help and find out about a ground strap coming from the trans and a 3 wire splice going from the TCM and the solenoid packand the TCM relay and I need to find it and clean it for the trans to work properly, I'm currently lookin for that splice which means I probably didnt have to spend all the money on parts like the chrysler techs had suggested, I hope this helps a little and if I find that splice I will disclose its location.
