The reverse lights will not work when putting vehicle in reverse. The bulbs are not burned out. And I checked the 10 amp fuse and it test good and has no visible break. What could be the cause? Is there some kind of switch for when you put the van in reverse that is supposed to close a contact to send power to the back up lights? I also found that the cruise control is not working. I think I read something on a post that said this could be the clock spring in the steering wheel under the air bag. It also said this may cause the air bag to not deploy in the event of a frontal crash. Is there a chance that all of these things are related to the clockspring needing to be replaced? I found a recall from Dodge showing they have to change the clockspring at no cost to the owner. Just trying to see if this is my problem. Does anyone know?
