1998 Dodge Caravan Brake drum removal

Chances are the shoes need lowered because there is a ridge built up on the drum from wear. Behind the backing plate, there is a rubber plug. Remove it and with a flashlight, look in and you'll see the star
adjuster. THere is a special tool that is used to adjust the brakes, but a straight screwdriver will work. You need to loosten it so the shoes close and the drim can be removed.
