Noises problem
1997 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive

I have a knocking noise in the front end of my van. I have 3 people telling me different things. There is a stabblizing bar on the passanger side that is broken and I can see that. But I have also been told by some one that drove it and works on semi-trucks that it sounds like a cv shaft. I dont want to spend a lot of money if it really could be the stabblizing bar that is making my van sound like that. It only knocks when I am driving and is a tad bit louder when I turn the car to the right. I really need help with what to do.

Thanks

This could be many things from bushing in the control arms to cv shafts. If you can visually see something broken in the suspension components, then chances are that is your issue. Seeing as how you say the noise worsens when turning the same direction as where the stabilizer is located, I suggets relpacing stabilizer bar.
