I need free step by step instructions on how to replace my front brake pads. Someone showed me how to replace them years ago then life went on and I forgot. So I ask Any person experienced with dodge's caravan (1996) model to post EVERY step in helping me replace my front pads. Thank you, and may every car dealership sale us 50 thousand dollar cars for 3000 dollars

Raise asn support vehicle.

Remove the front wheel.

Remove brake caliper to steering knuckle guide bolts from rear of caliper.

Then remove caliper by rotating top away from the steering knuckle then lifting front brake caliper from the machined steering knuckle surface, besure to secure the caliper so its not hanging by the brakeline.

Next remove the outer pad by prying off the retaining clip, then pull the inner disk brake pad away from the piston untill its retaining clip is ffree from piston caliper.

Coat the caliper/steering knuckle slide surfaces with mutlipurpose grease before installing caliper. Since your installing new pads make sure the piston is pushed fully into its bore or it wont fit over the rotor.

After that properly install the guide bolts you removed, make sure they are greased also.

Put tire back on lower vehicle, pump pedal till hard then test it.
