The protective cover over the wipers/airvent at the base of the windshield blew off, and rain leaked into the dash area. The radio does not work, appears to have no power. Fuse for radio is OK. What should I try to look for? An electrical short?

Remove radio and check for power at the back wiring and plug if you have power I would suspect a bad radio
check for ground

There's two power wires and two fuses to check. One that's on all the time for the clock and station memory could be labeled "air bag", "SRS", or "interior lights"; something that has power all the time.

Water should not have reached the radio unless the windshield was removed, but even then, moisture hasn't been a problem with most Chrysler radios. Rain water runs through that vent cover all the time.
