Around town, it's fine, but on longer trips recently, the cruise control has gone off, first time- at the end of the trip, last week after 100 miles (mostly uphill) and acceleration was ragged for the remaining 200 miles. Could something be overheating? I noticed that there's an investigation into a "sticky pedal issue" on Dodge Calibers from Mar-Apr of 06. Don't know if that has any bearing here.

I'm not familiar with that TSB. However, has the check engine light ever come on? Have you checked fuel pump pressure? Has the catalytic converter been checked? Any vacuum leaks?

Thanks for getting back to me. I took it in to the Dodge dealer, they did a minor tune-up, which took care of the problem. No repeat of the symptoms. So I'm good for now! Thanks again.
