My car died while driving with no warning. Was not a power issue. At first it would not start so after using starting fluid it started but died. Now it will start and of course die. There seems to be enough fuel pressure at the cold start injector but seems it is not getting to the rest of the injectors. When it starts it runs good for about 2 seconds and putters out and dies if I press the gas pedal it dies instantly. Not sure what to check.

More than likely it is your fuel pump, check pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it see link on how to do it.
