I put a new alternator in and tried to jump start it and nothing at all works not even the interior lights. I just bought a new battery less than a month ago, but I had died cause my lights were left on for a long time. The first time I got it jump started there was a little bit of power going to it but it would not start. So I got it towed back to my yard and put a new alternator in it and tried to jump it again and that time nothing had happened at all. There was zero power going to the car.

Hello,

Could you get a voltage reading for us across the battery posts of your battery with a Digital Multi-meter [DMM]? Here is a link to a guide on how to use a DMM if you are unfamiliar with how they work below:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-a-voltmeter

Please get back to us with what you find out and we can go from there.

Thanks,
Alex

I got I figured out. But I have another question about my steering wheel that has a really loud squeak every time I turn it and I put some power steering fluid in already.

Hello RAMESISM,

Your second question is about a different issue. Each question posted needs to be about one issue at a time in order for the site to properly index the question. This way it is easier for someone else with the same issue to find it. Please start a new question regarding power steering issue. For you convenience here is the link to post a new question:
