I'm working on my truck's interior, and I've decided to replace the courtesy lights and radio, both of which are hooked into the convenience center (left hand side, near fuse box, on firewall). I've tried unclipping the boxes the wires run into, and I've tugged on everything (not too hard), but they won't come out. What am I missing? How do I remove components from the convenience center?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Can you use your cell phone and take a video and upload here? That would help us be on the same page with the wires you mentioned. Thanks for using 2CarPros and Happy New Years.

Here's a photo. It shows three connectors: a grey one on the right and two green ones. I'm trying to remove the grey one and the green one next to it. The grey one is unclipped so that it opens, and the green one can do the same thing, but that doesn't seem to allow the wire to come out.

My phone camera isn't great in the dark, but I'll try making a video tomorrow.

Hello again.

Those should just pop out. I definitely would not pull on the wires. You might want to try using a pair of needle nose pliers to pull on the plastic connectors to pull out. Keep us updated and let us know if you have any further questions on this issue. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
