Dash gauges do not work after hitting bump on road

For some time the car was acting up. It will buck when a slow down on a light or when turning, I have to stop put it on park then he will go fine. It few weeks ago the gauges will stop working and the car would get stuck on fifth gear. We figured it was happening when hitting a bump on the road. Now last Thursday it happened again we turn it off and it didn't start for an hour but turned back on, now it did again but don't start and no gauges.

Hi:
It sounds like an electrical connection issue. Does anything work on the vehicle? For do the head lights or dash lights turn on?

If nothing works, first, confirm the battery is good and the battery terminals are clean and tight. Next, follow the ground wire to make sure it is tight and clean at the opposite end. Make sure the main wire to the starter is tight as well.

Let me know more about the specifics or what you find when checking the connections.
