Can anyone help me fix this so that the display is operable and that it will modify the temperature settings?

The button that moves the digital display from H (rt side) to C (left side) will not move the small diamond on the screen which is stuck all the way to the right side of the display.
Can anyone help me fix this so that the display is operable and that it will modify the temperature settings?
