HELLO, I JUSTA MACHANIC PUT A 27000 MILE (CARFAX) IN MY DAEWOO. RUNS GREAT SOUNDS GREAT BUT SOMETIMES ON STARTUP IT STALLS AND SOMETIMES WHEN IT GETS WARM IT STALLS. THE ENGINE PUT IN WAS A 2001 TO BE INSTALLED IN A 2000 THE ONLY MODIFICATION MY MACHANIC TOLD ME WAS ONE OF THE BELTS WAS LARGER.

THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON ON INSTALATION OF THE ENGINE BUT THE READ WAS SOMETHING TO DO EXAUST SYSTEM OR A LOOSE GAS CAP. AFTER BEING PUT ON CMPUTER FOR THE CODES THE LIGHT WENT OUT 4 WEEKS AGO AND NEVER CAME BACK ON.

If the CEL does not come on, then the problem should be due to the idling system.

Get the throttle body and Idle Air Control valve cleaned and retest.
