I was originally getting a p0306 code. So I took out the coil from cylinder six and swapped it with the coil for cylinder five. I checked my error code again and it came up as p0305. So I swapped that bad coil with a brand new one and I am still getting p0305. What do I do?

Hi,

Since the problem didn't exist on cylinder 5 before, I suspect you either got a bad ignition coil, the connector is loose, or the pins are pushed in and not making good contact.

I attached a pic below showing cylinder 5. Disconnect the coil and inspect the pins inside the connector. Also, make sure by accident you didn't bump the wiring to the cylinder 5 fuel injector. If everything checks good, return the new coil and get it replaced under warranty.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
