I know I need a tune up. Misfire in number five cylinder. Missing really bad. Recall on ignition module I had it replaced. Had delays in starting the car. The last time it started after delay got out the car less than two minutes the car will not crank. Walked around about thirty minute still no crank or start. Would not jump start. I replaced the starter relay, still nothing. To send the car back to dealer who replaces the ignition they check it will cost me $150.00. I cannot afford that right now. What seems to be my issue please? Thank you in advance.

How long ago was it when they replaced the switch? If it was recent then tell them the problem started after the switch was replaced. The $150.00 would be if diagnosis leads to something other then the switch? But problem can be a number of things. First thing you need to do is verify power is getting to the starter solenoid when cranking. If you have power and battery cable at starter reads battery voltage then the starter is faulty. If no power to the solenoid then further diagnosis would need to be done. If you know a real good mechanic have them double check the work done.
