Replaced driver side CV axle, hub, brakes. Turn key off and can out in park easy. Turn on and shift to drive smoothly and back to reverse. Shifter locks in reverse. It clunks loud when dropping in reverse. It kinds loud if you move reverse. It drove forward but feels off and hearing clinking. Reverse grinds if move. Stabbed twice. What is wrong?

Good evening,

Do you mean the car will not move and just grinds in gear?

If that is the case, the axle sounds like it is not seated in the transmission. There is a snap ring that has to seat in a groove in the transmission.

Have this checked to be sure it is seated.
