Good afternoon,

Can you post a picture so I can see the hose?

The only two things that are really coming off the hub are the wheel speed senor wiring and the brake hose so I would assume it is one of these.

I am attaching the info below on the wheel hub that shows both of these.

If I can see a picture that would really help in confirming it is one of these or something else.

Thanks

Roy

Hi,

There isn't a front axle actuator on this vehicle. The 4wd is controlled via the transfer case.

Looking at the first pic you sent, it looks like there is a one-way breather at the end. If that is the case, that should attach to the differential. If you follow the opposite side that isn't disconnected, see if it goes to the differential.

I copied one of your pics and circled the end. Is that a cap at the end of the hose?

Let me know.

Joe

Hi,

If the end of it has a cap (one-way valve), that goes to the atmosphere, it is a breather for the differential. You will want to keep it as high as possible to avoid water or dirt getting into it.

Let me know. Also, hang in there. We will get it figured out one way or another. Also, let me know if there is a component that isn't working. That should help me determine what it is for.

Take care of yourself.

Joe
