I had my crankshaft sensor replaced and within a day the transmission needs to be replaced. I want to know if something happened to hurt the transmission when he replaced the crankshaft?

Hello and welcome to 2CarPros. If he replaced the crankshaft sensor then I doubt there is anything that would cause the transmission to fail as a result considering they don't touch the transmission to change the sensor. The sensor bolts into a hole in the engine block with one bolt.
What is the issue with the transmission?

Thank you. I'm always afraid to get cheated, you put my mind at ease. I have to have my transmission rebuilt for $2,000.00. I was debating if it was worth it.

That's about normal for a rebuild. What isn't the transmission doing? Not shifting? Slipping?
