Cranks but no start?

Uncle went to leave my house and the car wouldn't start. The car cranks but won't run. I noticed that the security light was blinking fast. Is there a way to disable the anti-theft or any way to get the anti-theft disabled. Tried disconnecting the battery but it didn't work. Could it be the ring around the key cylinder?

Yep, it sounds like the security system is enabled. This car does not have the immobilizer ring around the ignition key btw. I would do a hard system reboot which should reset the system. Please go over this guide to see how:
