Crank, no start and No PATs anti-theft light on or flashing?

This car has a crank but no start condition. I can spray starter fuel into the breather, and it will start for a brief second. The owner has done replaced the Hight Pressure fuel pump thanking that was it but hasn't changed anything. I've noticed that the Anti Theft Light isn't coming on at all.

It sounds like the primary pump has gone bad; can you turn the ignition on without cranking the engine over to see if you can hear the pump in the tank come on? I have also seen the fuel pump module go bad on these cars, but we should run a CAN scan to see what comes up. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.
