Crank no start?

I acquired the car listed above, that had the engine torn down for a blown head gasket. Before the tear down the car ran. I have rebuilt the engine connected all of the wiring ensured all the timing marks were correct with OEM spec.
Engine cranks but will not start. Will start with starting fluid and then die. Will start and run with a gas rag in the intake. The injectors are new and spray fuel into the block. I have also verified the crank position sensor is working. Please help I'm at a loss

Hi,

If it runs with starting fluid, it is getting spark but no fuel. You indicated the injectors are spraying. Did you remove and test them?

Also, have you checked the fuel pressure to make sure it is within the manufacturer's spec? See pic below. Have you confirmed the glow plugs are working?

If you disconnect the coolant temperature sensor, it will simulate a cold start condition causing the GP to get power. Check that as well.
