Crank no start?

I hear the pump prime, no fuel to the rail. Truck has sat for 3 years. I'm suspecting the hose between the pickup and pump rotted away due to ethanol. The same thing happened to my 1989 Suburban that sat. Any other ideas before I pull the sending unit/pump? Is there an access port from the top?

Will it run on starting fluid? If so, I would say you are on the right track. Here are instructions on how to do the job in the images below. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
