Hybrid gen 9 (car listed above) never gets to hybrid mode. The engine and radiator fan run constantly. On the info system, there is no indication of coolant temperature, but analog temperature gauge works fine.
Where is the temperature sensor?
How do I test it?
How do I test the wiring?

More than likely we have an issue with the hybrid drive coolant temperature sensor so let's start with this.

However, I would suggest we check codes before we do anything.

Here is a guide that will help with this:

I suspect we will have some codes and that is where we need to go but I am attaching the info from the manual on this sensor.

Please let us know what codes you have, and we can go from there.

Thanks

Okay, great. The P0128 is most likely going to be the issue.

I am attaching the info for this code. Let's run through this and then retest for everything.

Let me know if you have questions on this.

Thanks
