My coolant temperature sensor is bad and needs replacing. I bought the part and now I am unable to find the location of said part. I have been online and still have no answer.

Here is an image from ALLData. It is not the most descriptive thing, but it should help you somewhat. I am also including the description of how to remove the sensor. It is fairly simple.

Installation is the reverse of removal. Be sure that the engine is cold before you open the cooling system, otherwise it could blow hot coolant on you and burn you.

Also, please see this general guide on replacing coolant temp sensors. It does well to explain the basic steps (like refilling the cooling system, for example). https://www.2carpros.com/articles/coolant-temperature-sensor-cts-replacement

Good luck and let us know if you have any other questions.
