I can smell coolant when I jump out the cab and walk towards the front of the truck. Sometimes when I stop at a red light with the windows down I can smell it too. It hasn’t made it into the cab through the vents. No signs of leakage anywhere. No coolant sitting anywhere. No drops or drips. Passed compression test. It’s not overheating.

I’m stumped.

Hello,

Have you checked to see if the floorboard is wet or damp underneath the dashboard. There is a possibility that your heater core may have a small leak. Also I would double check all hose clamps and inspect the radiator cap to make sure it is not leaking there. If your inspection comes up with nothing then please go to the link below.

Go through this guide and report back with what you find, please.

Thanks,
Alex
