Coolant leak problem

I have a coolant leak happening in the front middle of my engine area. I cannot see where the leak is actually coming from, just that it comes and goes. Last night it dropped a little less than a quart and I do not know how to stop it. I do not know if it is the water pump or something else.

It could be a head gasket. Fill the system then pressure check it with a tester or you can purchase a chemical to add to coolant auto parts rent tester. See link.
