I was driving my car today and all of a sudden, I started to see smoke from under the hood. While driving the car started stuttering like it wanted to shut down. When I got it home, I smelled coolant coming from under the hood. When I popped the hood there was coolant everywhere. What is the part called that I need and how to replace it? Thanks

Hi,

There are several things that may have failed. For example, the radiator, a radiator hose, a heater hose, and so on.

To get started, take a look through this link and let me know if it helps:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-is-leaking-coolant

If that doesn't help, add water to the system (to be removed later) and check to see if you can tell where it is leaking from. If you do, take a pic and upload it for me to see so I can direct you to what is needed and how it's done.

Let me know what you find or if you have questions.

Take care,

Joe
