How do I remove the shift lever knob?

How do I remove the shift lever knob and console to replace the sensor under there? I think I need to replace the shift sensor my key want turn all the way to the left to get it out.

The grip has a set screw in the area under the grip.

I haven't found no set screw. What is a grip? Can you send me a video?

It will be in position 3 on that shifter.

I don't see a set screw on the one I have look like it pull off. Do I need a tool to pull it off?

It won't pull off with the locking screw in place. Unless someone changed it out it should have the locking screw.

Where is the screw buried under? I moved the rubber boot down I didn't see it under there.

It's usually the rubber on the shifter that sort of closes over it from the boot squeezing it.
