Code P2118

The engine will start but it wont rev up when I press on the gas pedal. Has a code P2118. What is causing it how do I fix the problem?

The code sets when battery voltage is low. Check all your fuses especially your ETCS fuse in the engine compartment. Also make sure battery is good and alternator is charging properly. Here is a link to show you how to check the alternator.

I check all the fuses they are good the alternator is charging what does code P2118 mean?

The ETCS fuses is not blown the alternator is charging the battery was low charge because I been cranking a lots I put a charge on the battery can the Throttle actuator control motor current range or performance be tested of the car?

You would need an advance scanner to check the throttle operation. Verify you have a battery power at the green wire at the throttle body. If you have power then your throttle body has most likely failed. If the battery was dead make sure it is fully charge and reset the codes and recheck.
