I just had passenger climate filter changed two weeks ago. It worked fine until yesterday. Are they related, any suggestions?

Hello, I am Danny.

Unfortunately, having your cabin air filter replaced would not have had the ddefrost function fail. Your heater-A/C system has a left and right mode actuator that are possibly defective/broke. These are electric motors that open and close doors to move air through the specific air ducts. The actuators are located on the HVAC box under the dashboard. I am attaching a link to show you what is involved. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any further questions. Thanks for using 2CarPros.
