I have a 94 Chrysler town and country. It will not start. I was told it was the fuel pump. Could it be the fuel pump and if not what could it be?

If some one told you it’s the fuel pump is it because they checked it
Or just.
You need to check what is missing is it fuel
Spark or what else
You have the car we don’t we can help but we can not check from here what’s wrong with the van
So open the hood check what’s missing we can help just let us know

Good luck

The van was checked out by my husband as well as my father. The fuses were checked and it was checked to see if there was pressure and there is no fuel pressure. If not the fuel pump then what could it be?

What would hitting the middle of the tank do? Force fuel thru by hitting it?

I just had the same thing happen to my 94 T/C. It wont start. I cant hear the pump pump when I first turn the key. So pretty sure the pump is gone.

If the ASD relay goes south you ain't gonna have spark, fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse.

Have a nice holiday

What BMR is trying to do hitting it might be a loose pump connector or the pump needs a wake up call BTDT. Also he mentioned Relays-lets check the ASD relay and go from there.
