I have a 2004 Town and Country van, 3.3 L V6, 54,000 miles. Where is the Fuel filter located and how do I change it? The Hayes manual gives info on the 2003 model in which you drop the fuel tank and the filter is located on top. I did this but apparently those instructions were only for the 2003 model and they gave no info for the 2004 model.

Please help.

The fuel filter is mounted on the top of the fuel tank and requires the tank to be dropped to gain access. The filter is part of fuel pump assembly so you have to buy it as a unit. Most parts stores sell it. But normally the filter does not require replacement until you have contaminated fuel. My durango is the same way and the book states change filter only when you suspect to have contaminated fuel.

The fuel filter is located on the fuel tank next to the fuel pump module.
