2005 Chrysler Town and Country door locks don't work

2005 Chrysler Town and Country Automatic

just yesterday the door locks stopped working on the van. The only way to lock or unlock them is manually. The remote will not work and the switch in the van will not work. Are there fuses in these vehicles that may need replaced? Or what else might cause this problem.

All formerly simple and reliable circuits are now run by very trouble-prone computers. That's how they achieve all the gimmicks and toys people expect on cars today. Sometimes disconnecting the battery for a minute or two will resolve the problem. More commonly, suspect a defective Body Computer.
