2001 Chrysler Town and Country engine light on

Engine light came on and had it checked code was p1491. Radiator Fan relay open or shorted, but the fans come on when needed. The engine does smell like it's running hot. Temp gauge never goes above mid way though. Also A/C is blowing hot air was recharged 3wks ago. I haven't seen any leaks either. Any thoughts

The relay may need replaced. It may have malfunctioned and the computer picked up there was a problem. As far as the AC, you need to have it checked to see if it lost its charge. It sounds like there is a leak.

Pressure on compressor reads approx. 110psi @ 90temp.
The compressor and condensor rpl. Approx. 2 yrs ago. Have not seen any visible signs of leaks.
