I can't start my van. I think it is the alarm system because the alarm was going off for no reason constantly for awhile and then nothing. It will not turn over. I tried the keyfob trick, banging the driver door worked for awhile, waiting 24hrs worked once, and now I am disconnecting the battery and waiting to see it that works. I want to disconnect the whole stinking alarm system but I am not sure if it can be done because chrysler service guys said it can't be done but I think it can be. Can you tell me how to disconnect the alarm system on my van.
Thanks
Lisa

Lisa:

I have seen this problem before and it ended up being the door latch fro the drivers side. It has a micro switch which goes bad inside.

You will need to take off the door panel this guide will show you how.

Here is how it will be for your car (below)

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers
