1997 Sebring convertable

1997 chrysler sebring w/2.5 v6 150,000 mi. Car shuts off at random must sit approximately 20-30 sec then will restart 1st try this happens often in heavy traffic and seems to happen more when hot outside hooked up too neighbors trouble shoot scanner and nothing wrong so says scanner what say you?

You need to troubleshoot when problem is happening. Is it losing spark and or fuel is the question. You can spray carb or intake cleaner into the throttle body to see if it starts from lack of fuel, or use a spark tester to see if there is a loss of spark.
If it is loss of spark, you may be able to use a hairdryer on the ignition control module or pcm to see if the heat affects it.
