Brake Lights

Drivers side brake light was not working. Opened light and checked bulb and wires. No power. Followed through fender to trunk connection, no power. Third trunk brake light and passenger brake light working. Then for no apparent reason all three not working. Was using a basic test light checking for power on the white wire with brown stripe. Checked ground wire, ok. Pulled out brake pedal switch and tested as ok. Fuse is ok. Does the pedal switch go to a control module or something which could cut off all three lights?

Thanks.

Hello,

There is a fuse #12 15 amp that needs to be checked for power here is a guide and the wiring diagrams for the brake lights so you can do some testing to fix the issue.

Check the fuse for power on both sides.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what happens.

Cheers
