Car is overheating. Fluid gets lost but seems to happen when it "squirts" out of the overflow container. Sometimes it will be overheating and if I get it back to normal(run heater, switch to N at stops), it may not appear to overheat again for a while. Had the thermostat replaced at a shop but did not help. Can see no apparent leaks.

Has the radiator ben flushed? Does the car overheat at highway speeds or just in town? Finally, check the motor oil ot make sure there is no coolant getting into the oil or any oil getting into the coolant. Also, check for leaks around the cylender head.

Ended up just shutting off one day on way to work. Timing belt went. Turns out it was all worn out. While getting it fixed they found the water pump was leaking badly and the radiator fan motor and some other part related to the fan were also worn out. Fixed now but thanks for answering back.
