Engine Mechanical problem 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 56000 miles

I was wondering if anyone knew how the cylinders were numbered with the 3.5L V6 engine?

Please see the diagram below. This will show the orientation of the engine.

However, this is a little confusing because the engine is a transverse engine which means the "front" of the engine is pointing to the passenger side of the vehicle.

So, this means when you are looking at the engine in this orientation and you would be standing on where it says left bank and the front arrow is pointing to the side of the engine with the drive belt.

Please look at the diagram below and let me know what questions you have.

Thanks
